To use the mobile app for the hosted version enter the URL https://m.visionflow.com (https://m.visionproject.se) into the web browser of your mobile device. For a installed version use your normal url but with the extension /m.html, like https://www.xyz.xy/m.html
The mobile app have a limited set of functionality compared to the normal version of the system. Please note that the normal version of the system also works well on mobile devices based on Android and Windows platforms, but is somewhat limited on iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad.
In version 8.4 the framework used, Sencha Touch, has been upgraded and this has improved the following areas:
- Better support for Android
- Better scrolling
The mobile app uses the Sencha Touch framework and will therefore work in all newer mobile phones, such as IPhone and Android (> 2.0), and tablets/pads such as IPad and Android tablets. More information about platform support is available here: http://www.sencha.com/products/touch/
The primary goal with the mobile app
You should be able to do the core tasks, such as:
- View task/issue lists per project and filters
- View task/issue details
- Create and delete tasks/issues
- View Issue History
- Email from the system (creates a task/issue)
- Reply to a task/issue via email
- Edit a the most important fields on a task/issue, such as
- View/Edit/Add work logs
- View companies/customers
- View all users/contacts
- Search users, companies and issues
Searching in the mobile app
Searching on users/contacts
In the users list view there is a search field in the top toolbar. Entering a text and pressing the search button will perform a user search based on the following fields:
- Home phone
- Cell phone
The search will match any part of the string.
Searching on companies/customers
In the Companies list view there is now a search field in the top toolbar. Entering a text and pressing the search button will perform a company search based on the following field:
This search will only match from the beginning of the string so if you want full text search you need to use the '*' wildcard.
Searching on tasks/issues
In the issues list view there is a search field in the top toolbar. Entering a text and pressing the search button will perform an issue search based on the following fields:
This search is an exact search so if you want full text search you need to use the '*' wildcard. To search from the beginning of the string you need to end the search string with '*'. Information about how many issues that are found is presented after the filter name in the top toolbar.
