On the February 5th some of our customers have experienced problems with the email ticket system module in VisionProject, i.e. the ability to import emails automatically and convert them to issues/tickets. The problem was intermittent and hard to pinpoint, some customers were not affected while other customers were affected much. 

 

After analyzing the problem in detail together with our infrastructure provider we could finally locate and identify the problem and then resolve it. The reason for the problem was a minor change in our infrastructure that was done outside normal service windows without the prior knowledge and approval of our operations team.

 

We will now analyze the incident, discuss it with our infrastructure provider and take necessary actions to make sure it doesn't happen again.
