These are the "rules" for the Notifications:

  1. A notification is not sent to the user that "initiated" the Notification, UNLESS the check-box "Send notification to the initiator of the event" is checked in the Notifications sub-page of project settings. (Your project > Settings > Notifications)
  2. The "Enable email notifications"-flag on a user has to be enabled
  3. Notifications are not sent to support users UNLESS the check-box "Send notification to Support users" is checked in the Notifications sub-page of project settings. (Your project > Settings > Notifications)
  4. Please note that notifications for support users are limited to a few types, available in the Notification templates, these are:
    • Comment added
    • New issue created
    • Status changed
    • Description changed

    If it is notifications from issue rules notifications are not sent to support users at all!
