Between approximately 10:40 and 11:36 on Nov 20th there was a disruption to the VisionProject service.  During this time the system was inaccessible. 

 

Directly when we received system alerts that our system was unreachable from the internet our network and infrastructure provider (IP-only) was contacted to fix the problem. The problem was quickly identified as the same problem that happened on the 19th of November, and it was related to the firewall cluster, it could then be fixed quite fast after this by. 

 

The network, systems and components that VisionProject service is running on should be completely redundant. This means that the problem that occurred on the 19th of November should not be able to happen, yet it did. The problem in this case that the whole firewall cluster stopped working alltogether. This should not be able to happen since the firewall cluster is designed to be completely redundant. A permanent solution to the problem has also been found by the firewall vendor and the cluster was upgraded on the 21th of November. Both IP-only and the firewall vendor are confident that this problem will not happen again and that the firewall cluster
