You change the SMTP settings to define what email server you want to use in the visionplatform_mail.properties file is available in the VisionFlow/WEB-INF/classes/ folder

 

You need to configure at least one mail server for VisionFlow to send (relay) emails through. 

 

However, we recommend that you use a primary and a secondary in case the first one doesn't respond for some reason, according to:

#To Disable 8bit mime for some mailboxes, separate them with ;

If you want to store a backup of sent emails on the server, include the row below and specify the number of hours they should be stored (such as 120 hours). We recommend that you store sent files for at least 2-3 days for debug purposes. These files will be stored in the documents folder on your server in a separate folder called SentEmails 
sentEmailEmlAge=120

 

If you want to increase the default number of threads (5) used to fetch emails, then add the row below 

maxMailCheckerWorkerThreads=20

 

 

Please note that this emailserver needs to allow relaying of emails from the VisionFlow application server(s). This may require special configuration of your email server, please see here for more information...
