 Upgrade from VisionProject 5.4 to VisionProject 6.0 Export knowledge base Export     SubscribeSubscribe      Show article info
First of all; take a backup copy of your current installation, including the database!

Again, make sure that you have made a backup of your Tomcat webapp (all files) and the database!

Extract the content from 'vp_installed_v6.0_upgrade_from_v5.4-20100216.zip' over your current installation.

Go to the directory 'WEB-INF/lib' and remove the file: 'quartz-1.6.0.jar'

Knowledge Base Images/Icons/number_4_blue.gif Update your VisionProject database by running the SQL script 'upgrade_from_v5.4_to_v6.0.sql' located in the directory: '/WEB-INF/internal_docs/installed version/db_scripts/v6.0/Upgrade from v5.4'. Choose the directory that match your database, MS SQL Server or MySQL.

You are done and can start Tomcat again!

NOTE! If you like to use Norwegian och Polish language you have to add ';no_NO;pl_PL' to the availableLocales attribute in the file: 'VisionProject.properties', like this:

availableLocales=en_US;sv_SE;cs_CZ;de_DE;no_NO;pl_PL

You can also set Norwegian or Polish to be the default language on the login page with this:

defaultLoginLocale=no_NO

OR

defaultLoginLocale=pl_PL

Then you have to open up VisionProject and set the Default locale in 'Settings -> General' to Norwegian or Polish.
