Issue management


Kanban/task board

A Kanban/Task board has been introduced. It is available from the "View-sub menu".

From the Kanban board you can also see a Cumulative Flow diagram.

The description field(s) and comments are now in HTML!

Improve readability for Issue History Log

The readability for the Issue History Log has been improved wastly.

  • Messages from customers are in yellow with a question mark icon.
  • Replies from "internal users" are in blue with an exclamation icon.
  • Old content is hidden per default but can be shown by clicking on "Show hidden content"

 

 

Add a "Version-sub menu" in Issue tab that displays all issues in the selected version

You can now filter your issues on version directly in the Issues-tab. Please note that the current selected filter is always used along with the selected version.

All Components should be available in filter mode

All Components wasn't available in the filter mode.

 

"Add new work log" should be available in the context menu

A work log can now be added directly from the context menu.

 

Let parent inherit start date and due date from its children

You can now let the parent issues inherit start date and due date from its childrens.

 

Ticket system

 

A processing rule action that disables auto-reply

You can now set up a processing rule that disables the auto-reply. This action is only applicable if the e-mail message don't contain a Ticket id.

 

A processing rule action that makes it possible to send an alternative auto-reply

You can now set up a processing rule that sends an alternative auto-reply. This is very useful if you have customers from different countries and would like to send an auto reply in your customer's native language. This action is only applicable if the e-mail message don't contains a Ticket id.

 

A processing rule action that makes it possible to send a custom message

You can now send a custom response message to your customers with the help of this rule action. This action is only applicable if the e-mail message contains a Ticket id.

 

A processing rule action that leaves the issue untouched

In some circumstances you would like to leave the completely issue untouched even if a new message for that issue is received. This can be useful if you always want to keep closed issues closed and instead send a message telling the customer to send a new message because the issue has been closed.

 

Add a processing rule criteria that checks the issue status

A new processing rule criteria that checks the status if the issue has been added.

 

 

Miscellaneous

 

Possibility to override "terminology", e.g. instead of Version you can use Release, etc.

If you don't like the standard "terminology" that is used in VisionProject you can now change it! You can change the terminology for version and developer. Please let us know if you would like to have the possibility to change the terminology for other things!

 

Improved LDAP module (added support for a mixed password hashing mechanisms)

Show Worklog per user on Project page

A simple summary of how much each time each user has reported.

 

Enhanced "Version/Release" page with progress information and graphs

The "Version/Release-page" that you see if you view one version/release has been enhanced with "Progress information" and graphs. It has pretty much the same look as the "Project page".

Personal "thumbnail-icon" added

In the Profile you can now add a personal thumbnail-icon that will be used instead of the default icons in the Issue History Log.
