 Is there a printer friendly view of an issue? Export knowledge base Export     SubscribeSubscribe      Show article info

Yes there is, just select the "Switch to read only view" link on an issue and you'll see the printer friendly view.

If you print the issue you'll also see that all the banners, tabs and such have been removed from the printed page as well.
