 I have created custom fields for Products/assets/configuration items, but I cannot see them on the items! Export knowledge base Export     SubscribeSubscribe      Show article info

When creating custom fields for products/config items, you need to configure which fields should be available on which CI/product type.

 

Assuming you have created a number of custom fields in the account setting (see General - Settings - Product settings -Custom fields), 

you need to configure the product types to use the custom fields.

 

Go to the product tree page, and click on the "Edit configuration item types".

Add the custom fields to all products/Config items that should use them. This also makes it possible to use different sets of fields on different item types.
