 How many custom fields can I add on issues? Export knowledge base Export     SubscribeSubscribe      Show article info

There is no limit to the total number of issue fields that you can add in your account. You can add as many fields as you like in the General --> Settings --> "Issue configuration" --> "Custom Fields" section. 

 

However, there is a limit of 40 custom fields per project/workspace. This means that the total number of fields you can add to a certain "issue field configuration" is limited to 40, i.e. in the General --> Settings --> "Issue configuration" --> "Issue Fields"  section
