Sub‑tabs on Issue: Which permissions to show/hide these? Export knowledge base Export     SubscribeSubscribe      Show article info

How do I hide or show one of the sub-tabs on an issue for a user?

The sub-tabs that are shown on an issue depends on the permission settings for your user group - the user group that you have on the specific project that the issue belongs to. (This is not necessarily the same user group you have on a general, account-level.)

Note: You can choose to show the sub-tabs as separate sections instead.  Change the setting ('Use tabs in "Edit issue"' in the section 'Issue settings' in the settings-tab) in your user profile at the top right.

The permissions needed to see the different sub-tabs are as follows:

Knowledge Base Images/Icons/bullet_triangle_blue.gif History : This tab is always shown.

Knowledge Base Images/Icons/bullet_triangle_blue.gif Sub-issues : Sub-issues must be enabled on the project, and you need the Role Permission "View subissues" (in the 'Issues' section).
